Mad Science: Adventures in Soap

Interest in making soap started years ago before the great expansion of the worldwide inter-webs and all information came in the form of books (imagine that!). So, books were bought.  And so were they read, cover to cover.  Then... promptly shelved and forgotten.  Without readily available sources and resources, the prospect of making soap was intimidating and expensive. I'm pretty sure I smacked myself in the forehead and thought, "What was I thinking?"

Not so much anymore. Inter-webs offers a smorgasbord of information and affordable resources. You're only limited by your own imagination and ingenuity. So if there's a bit of mad scientist in you just craving a chance to create, why not give it a try? Even my mistakes (oh, yes. I've made a few) were, at the very least, fun to come by.
